Description of the initiative
The training aims to build the capacity of the customs officials at the national level on handling, transport, packaging and identification of GMOs in entry ports
Objective and main expected outcomes or lesson learned
Identify the roles of customs officials in Biosafety related issues
Train on the types of trans-boundary movements under the protocol
Understand the requirements for the handling, transport, packaging and identification of GMOs
