Description of the initiative
The workshop aims to improve the status of implementation of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety and its supplementary protocol
Objective and main expected outcomes or lesson learned
Provide a platform for exchanging experiences and identifying challenges to the implementation of the Cartagena Protocol
Exchange views on the best ways to integrate biosafety into relevant national development plans and programs
Mobilize the financial and human resources necessary to promote the effective implementation of the Cartagena Protocol at the national level in line with the Strategic Plans of the Protocol
